Yoga Teaching Experience: I have been teaching about 3 yoga classes per week ever since receiving my certification in May, 2006. I started at the Breeze Yoga studio in Shanghai and moved onto setting up my own Hatha yoga classes around town mainly to expats. This is when I also taught a long stretch of prenatal yoga classes. I began teaching Hatha yoga at Yoyo Yoga Spa in April 2007 to local Chinese and expat students. I continue to teach there as well as teaching my own classes. I have taught children’s yoga to preschoolers in my Montessori classroom and to 8-11 year olds at my current elementary school.
Other Qualifications and Background: I hold a bachelor of science degree from Michigan State University in Park, Recreation and Tourism Management. I’m a certified Montessori preschool teacher and I currently am a second-grade teacher at a bilingual international school in Shanghai. Jack (6) and Lily (4) are my two children and am a lifelong musician.♫
