Situated in an idyllic country village, the Mountainyoga™ Base Camp rests in an mountain village in the Fragrant Hill of Beijing's western mountains. Fresh mountain air, aroma of green trees and beautiful flowers with birds singing and dogs barking emit tranquility and peacefulness everywhere. The Base Camp is a stroll away from Fragrant Hill park, Azzure Cloud Temple, Botanical Garden and Sleeping Buddha Temple, and is 10 minutes walk up the hill to our Retreat Camp. There are many hiking trails as well as water springs in the surrounding mountains.

The Base Camp is consited of 3 courtyards with one courtyrd dedicated to yoga and other retreat activities. There are 2 practice halls with bamboo or wooden walls and natural material ceilings, and 3 wooden outdoor roof top terraces for practice, among which 1 hall and 2 terraces have panaramic views of the surrounding mountains and overlook the Beijing city down in the east. There is a small gift shop and a dining hall on the second floor, serving meals right in front of the mountain view. Two other roof terraces are dedicated to camping and outdoor reading respectively.

The other courtyards are mainly residential facilities providing standard mountain view double occupancy rooms with private toilet and shower for retreats, and dorms with 2 wooden bunk beds for trainings totaling 45 spaces. Camping is possible on the designated roof terrace.
